What is Halal?

Halal means what is lawful in traditional Islam and is most often a term associated with permissible food and drinks.  The most common of non-halal food is pork.  Other meats are allowed as long as the supplier follows halal practices including the exact prescribed method of slaughter. Vegetarian cuisine is halal if it does not contain alcohol.  Learn more.
